South Zanesville’s Storybook Christmas Parade is Coming to Town

SOUTH ZANESVILLE, OH – Get ready to step into the pages of your favorite holiday tales because South Zanesville is getting ready for their annual Storybook Christmas parade.
On November 19th, at 2pm, the streets will come alive with the sights and sounds of the Christmas season. The parade will kick off its holiday journey from Sheetz and will make its way down to Pinkerton Road.
“I love seeing all the kids and seeing their faces light up when Santa comes by and seeing them grab candy. It’s just a joyful time to see kids enjoying life.” South Zanesville Fire Department Chief, Russell Taylor said.
Local businesses have been hard at work creating holiday floats… and as always, the guest of honor is Santa Clause who will be arriving in style atop a fire truck.
“We’re going to feature Santa on a fire truck. We’re super excited for that this year. We’re featuring a lot of our local businesses such as our local banks, local doctor offices, and I know a couple of times our Library System’s in there. A lot of wonderful parts of our community just coming together to celebrate.” President of the Zanesville South Business Association, Kaitlyn Novaria said.
If you’d like to enter a float into the parade, you can stop by any of the Community Banks or North Valley Banks to pick up an application.
