Zane Trace National Trail Model Railroad Club to Host Open House

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zane Trace National Trail Model Railroad Club is inviting the public to an open house this weekend.
The open house will be this Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 4 PM. The building is lined with miniature scenic views of Eastern Ohio and busy downtown streets of Western Pennsylvania.
Rick Gooden, Treasurer of the Railroad club, says that building those scenes can get your mind off of things.
“It’s a great way to get you away from stuff that’s going on at home or the world,” Gooden said. “There’s no distractions up here in our train room, so it’s just a good thing if you want to get into it.”
Gooden also said the ZTNT Club is up to around 30 members and they are accepting new members.
“We’re always looking for new members,” Gooden said. “You just need to approach one of the officers and let them know you’re interested. After you come to 3 of our monthly meetings, you can then be voted into the club.”
If you are interested in checking out the Zane Trace National Model Railroad Club but can’t make the open house, they are located at 24 S 6th St in Zanesville and are open to the public on Tuesdays from 6 to 8PM.
