Suann Grear

Our mother, Suann Katherine Grear, 82 of Zanesville passed away after a long, full life at 1:51 P.M. Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Cedar Hill Care Center. She was very loved & will be missed terribly.
She was born January 24, 1941 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Clarence Hupp and Mary Arnold Hupp.
Suann was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, was employed at Good Samaritan Medical Center for several years and also helped her husband in his business, Reg Grear Real Estate & Appraisals. She enjoyed cooking & decorating and was especially devoted to her family & grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters; Julie (Hank) Thoben & Cathy (Michael) Freriks; three grandchildren, Ian, Maria & Litzi Thoben; and two nieces, Kris Gutierrez & Penny Kopp.
Suann was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Lee Grear; a sister, Rita King and a brother, Clarence Hupp Jr.
There will be no public services and In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Genesis Hospice, 713 Forest Avenue Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
