Vera Fish

Vera J. Fish, age 98 of Lore City passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Countryview Assisted Living Center. She was born on August 29, 1928 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Casper Samay and Vera (Peros) Samay.
Mrs. Fish was a member of the Antrim United Methodist Church and also attended the Byesville Assembly of God. She had worked at Meridian Plastics for many years. She enjoyed word search puzzles and watching TV and she especially loved dogs.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, her husband William H. “Bill” Fish on September 9, 2010; a brother Paul Samay and two sisters, Margaret Rine and Helen Dingey; three daughters Diane Paden, Vaera Mae Skender and Doris Norman; and two sons Butch and Ronnie Fish.
She leaves two daughters Barbara Fish of Lore City and Theresa Dutton of Cambridge; eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 12pm to 1pm with services beginning at 1pm. Woody Biggs will officiate the service with burial to follow in Cumberland Cemetery.
