Car Dealership Bringing Holiday Cheer with Toy Drive

ZANESVILLE, OH – A local car dealership is teaming up with Eastside Community Ministry to bring some holiday cheer.

McHugh Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Fiat is hosting their 6th Annual Toy Drive. All of the toys collected during the drive will go to Eastside Community Ministry for the 36 children in the after school program. They are looking for new, unwrapped toys for the drive. 

“It’s just something that we like to do around the holidays and Christmas season,“ Tim McHugh, part owner of McHugh Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Fiat said. “We like to be able to give back to the community.“

Jamie Trout, Executive Director of Eastside, said that it doesn’t matter the size of the toy you donate; they just appreciate the thought.

“Many of the kids in our after school program don’t get a lot for Christmas,” Trout said. “Anything that they will receive this year, it will be appreciated.”

The Toy Drive will begin right after Thanksgiving and will wrap up around the week before Christmas. The dealership is located at 3420 Maple Avenue.
