Kiwanis Club of Zanesville Hosts Heartwarming Christmas Party

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Kiwanis Club hosted their beloved annual Christmas party today at the West Muskingum Booster Hall, bringing smiles to local children.
Around 70 children, selected by local schools for needing a little extra holiday cheer, were treated to an afternoon of fun. The Christmas party included a delicious meal, cheerful music, gift opening, and a much-anticipated visit from Santa Claus himself.
“It is such a joy to see these kids. All the hard work we do with our club and fundraising. When you see us out in the community selling peanuts and hosting other events in which we’re raising money, it’s really important for the community to know that this is one of the big year events that those dollars go towards. It really impacts a lot of kids in our community.” Kiwanis Member and Christmas Party Chair, Bridget Tetak said.
Kiwanis members, with help from the high school Key Clubs, personally shopped for and wrapped the gifts, ensuring each child received a special present.
“It means a lot to me to see a smile on the children’s faces and giving back to the community and helping those in need,” Key Club Member, Regan Davis said.
The Christmas party not only brought joy to the children, but also the Kiwanis members. This annual holiday celebration will be returning again next year.
