ZANESVILLE, OH – Get ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference!

On February 21st, the American Red Cross is teaming up with the Noon and Daybreak Rotary Clubs to host a blood drive at Secrest Auditorium from 10 AM to 4 PM. This event is not only an opportunity to give back to your community, but also a chance to receive. As a special thank you, every generous donor will take home a $20 Amazon gift card.

“We are encouraging anyone and everyone that would like to contribute blood, to support the blood drive at Secrest Auditorium. Not only will you be giving blood, but you will be receiving an Amazon gift card as well. That’s exciting to get something in return.” President of the Noon Rotary Club, Kelly Ashby said.

By donating blood, you can make a profound difference in someone’s life. Your act of kindness could provide hope and healing to those facing medical emergencies.

“We are in an emergency crisis for blood donations. It’s truly important to give blood. Our hospitals are in need of blood, and of course, blood is the lifeline for those that are going through surgeries or other traumatic experiences. When we donate blood, there is a possibility that three lives will benefit from that one donation.” Ashby said.

You can make an appointment to donate by going to the Secrest Auditorium or American Red Cross website. Walk-ins are also welcome.
