The Mid-East Career and Technology Center Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame

The Mid-East Career and Technology Center celebrated three of its alumni Tuesday evening, by inducting them into it’s Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame.

Lane Beougher, Susan Dowell and Zachary Miller all were recognized for their career achievements in each of their respective fields Tuesday. They each acknowledged that Mid-East helped them reach the individual success that they have achieved. Stacy Snider, public information coordinator from Mid-East says that the ceremony shows the success mid-east students can have.

"It’s just a really a great way to highlight the things, and the places that mid-east graduates can go."

Snider says that this event is important not only to honor the hall of fame inductees but to recognize the Mid-East Career and Technology Center as well.

"I think it’s important to recognize the inductees and their successes, but I think it is equally important for our community to know the success stories that come out of Mid-East" says Snider.

The event Tuesday evening started with a dinner at 6:00 p.m. and was followed by the induction ceremony.

Lane Beougher graduated from Philo High School and the Drafting Program at Mid-East in 1979 and currently serves as Program Services Manager with Ohio Facilities Construction Company.
