Zanesville Rotary Clubs 50th Annual Rose Sale

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville Noon and the Zanesville Daybreak Rotary Clubs are currently in full bloom with their annual Rose Sale.
This spring marks the 50th anniversary for the Rotary Rose Sale, a cherished tradition that continues to grow. This floral fundraiser offers a dozen roses for just $22, with proceeds going directly towards supporting local community events, organizations, and various important projects.
“We have raised over a million dollars in the last 50 years. It’s all went back to Zanesville and the community. Every bit that we make from the Rose Sale, comes back,” Chairperson Rusty Montgomery said.
In addition to the rose sale, on Thursday, April 18th, the Rotary Clubs of Zanesville are uniting to sponsor a blood drive at the Secrest Auditorium starting at 10 AM. Donating blood is a profound act of kindness and can provide hope and healing to those in medical emergencies.
“It’s a Community Day, which means if we’re able to donate beyond 30 pints or units of blood, then the Red Cross will give us money towards a local organization of our choosing which is a great incentive for people to give blood. We’d love to invite people to come out and give blood. The best way for them to do that is to sign up on the Red Crosses website,” President of Zanesville Daybreak Rotary Club, Grant Stubbins said.
