Brave Beginnings Getting Ready for Relaunch Charity Event
ZANESVILLE, OH – Combat to Kayaks is teaming up with Brave Beginnings, formerly known as Heroes Landing, for a relaunch charity event.
The event aims to celebrate the relaunch of Brave Beginnings under its new name, while continuing its vital mission of helping local children who have been victims of physical or sexual abuse.
“I am most excited to get our name out to the community and to have them become more aware of who we are and what services we provide. That way people know that we are here and that they can always reach out to us,” Brave Beginnings Director, Roni Kuhn said.
Attendees can expect an array of activities from games and prizes to auctions and live music. All the fun is set for this Saturday, April 27th from 2 pm to 5 pm, on Beverly Avenue in Zanesville.
“We are going to have a lot of games for children. There’s going to be sack races, a dunk tank, and corn hole games. A lot of different games with some small prizes. We will also have an Ohio State football player come and he will be working with the children, throwing footballs, and signing footballs for the children that they can keep,” Kuhn said.
