Muskingum County’s Blue-Ribbon Farmer’s Market Continues with Seasonal Offerings and Crafts

ZANESVILLE, OH- The Muskingum County Blue-Ribbon Farmer’s Market has returned for another year.
Each year, the Muskingum County Fairgrounds holds their farmers market on Saturdays at 9 a.m. until noon from the beginning of May until the end of October. Many escaped the rain today to enjoy the Blue-Ribbon Farmers Market.
“We’re excited to be back and up and running, last week was our first week, this is our second week, kind of disappointed in the weather but we are having a great season so far, we have a lot of handcrafted items, plants, flowers, of course the famous Stanley cups are available here, Birkenstock shoes, and a little bit of everything for everybody, we also have food available too,” Muskingum County Fair Board President, Gail Deitrick said.
If you would like to display your items at the farmer’s market, they have plenty of spots available for you.
“As a matter of fact, you can just show up any week you’d like, we normally do have extra spots, spots are only 20 dollars per week and if you just want to show up for one week and pay your 20 dollars, we have an application that you can fill out and we will give it to you upon arrival or you can find it on our website or you can always call the fair office for more details as well,” Deitrick said.
