Roy Garten Isaacs, Jr
Roy Garten Isaacs, Jr. was born in Dayton, OH on the 18th of March, 1931 to Viola and Roy Isaacs, Sr. Roy passed peacefully on the 6th of July this year. His siblings were five brothers (two died in youth)and one sister. He lived for many years in Bradfordsville, Kentucky where he met Doris June Smith. Roy was married to Doris for 74 years. Their three children are Danny Isaacs (Oklahoma and New Concord, OH), Sherry Isaacs (Columbus, OH) and Karen Marshall (Lima, OH). He was a member of Bloomfield Presbyterian Church. Roy worked at NCR in Dayton and later as Production Manager for 2nd and 3rd shift in Cambridge, Ohio. He also worked at Xerox in El Segundo, CA before moving back to Ohio. Doris and Roy owned Stagecoach Antique Mall and Isaacs’ Antiques of Norwich, Ohio for over 50 years and were involved for many years in the Cambridge Glass Club. Roy will be missed by many including all local auctioneers. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. At this time no memorial service is planned.
