Robert Sills

Robert W. Sills, 69 of Cambridge, passed away July 21, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Brown; brother JD Sills; his inherited mother the “Warden” Sylvia B. Earley; his two best friends and brothers in arms, Charles R. Earley, Martin D Earley, and his lifetime companion and love Mikail M Earley.
Robert is survived by his brother Rick (Mary) Sills of Byesville; four nieces whom he helped raise, Sylvia, Soprina, Terria, and Billie. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews, whom he helped groom and nurture into adulthood. Robert was known for helping all the elderly in the community by assisting them with all their errands. He would walk miles just to deliver someone a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. Robertt could be seen always walking the streets of Cambridge and Byesville helping all in need. He was a hippie by nature and would often hitchhike to Florida, and back again just to see the ocean. He loved to listen to John Lennon and the Beatles for hours on end. He was a kind and gentle soul who was loved and will be missed by many. He spent his final days surrounded by family and love.
