Ohio Sales Tax Holiday is Happening Now

ZANESVILLE, OH – It’s that time of year again when you can save big on your back-to-school shopping.

Ohio’s annual Sales Tax Holiday started on July 30th and runs until Thursday, August 8th. During this period, shoppers can purchase clothing, school supplies, and other essentials without paying sales tax. You can save on qualifying tangible items priced at $500 or less, making it the perfect time to gear up for the school year.

“This is a great time for school shopping. You can get your children the current sizes that they’re in, that way they’ll be ready for back to school and just kind of an extra boost of confidence as the back-to-school season is nearing. Get everybody in that right mindset to head back to school here later this month, ” General Manager of the Colony Square Mall Jessica Brailer said.

From stylish new clothes to essential school supplies, the Sales Tax Holiday ensures that families can shop without the extra cost. The Colony Square Mall in Zanesville offers a variety of stores perfect for finding all your back-to-school essentials.

You just need to park once and come on in. We have a great selection of clothing stores and school supply stores, and of course you can get something to eat here at Café Court while you’re out here shopping.
