Primrose Retirement Community Hosts End of Summer Bash

Primrose End Of Summer Bash 2024

ZANESVILLE, OH – A local assisted living facility beat the heat today.

Primrose Retirement Community of Zanesville hosted their second annual End of Summer Bash that included a slip and slide, dunk tank, and a water balloon fight.

Cassie Riffee, the Sales Director at Primrose, says it wasn’t just a day of fun for their residents, residents from Cedar Hill, Sterling Suites, and Altercare of Zanesville also joined in.

“It’s such a good time right now, there’s so many faces, great friends, a great community coming together just to celebrate the end of summer.” Riffee said. “The smiles have been endless today, so it’s definitely super fulfilling, it’s what this community is all about.”

Staff also got in on the fun by participating in the dunk tank and singing karaoke.

Dylan Still-Pepper, the Executive Director of Sterling Suites and Cedar Hill, says it was a great day for residents to get out, enjoy the day, and socialize with some new friends.

“This is exactly what healthcare is meant to be, it’s meant to be a collaboration between healthcares, not really a competition that a lot of it gets made out to be.” Still-Pepper said. “So having relationships like with Cassie and Katie over here with the other communities in town. This is what healthcare is, it’s everybody that, where they live but still being able to come together and have a blast.”

Riffee says she already has a few ideas for next year’s End of Summer Bash.
