James “Jim” Burton

James “Jim” Floyd Burton age 70, of Caldwell, OH passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the Altercare Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell. He was born June 6, 1954 in Marietta, OH a son of the late Floyd and Mildred Nesselroad Burton.

He loved driving his Chevy truck around. Jim was fond of animals, kids, music and especially Scooby-Doo. He was most at peace when his sister Joyce would pray with him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters Jean Burton and Linda Burton.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters Iva (Frank) Littleton of Caldwell, Donna Mackie of Caldwell, Bonnie McKown Macksburg, OH, and Joyce Burton of Caldwell. Jim is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, and great-great-nieces & nephews.

The family will observe private services where Jim will be laid to rest in Dudley Cemetery with his parents.
