ZCA 85th Season Begins with Michael Feinstein’s Tony Bennett Tribute

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville Concert Association is opening its 85th concert season with a special tribute to the legendary Tony Bennett, performed by the talented Michael Feinstein and featuring the Carnegie Hall Ensemble.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 18th, at 7 PM at the Secrest Auditorium. Feinstein will pay a heartfelt tribute to Tony Bennett, and the audience can look forward to timeless Bennett classics, including Because of You and many more beloved hits.

“It’ll be songs from Tony Bennett’s career. It’ll be the big band era songs because he’s paying a tribute. Tony passed away last year, and Tony performed here. He’s been here before, his daughter’s performed here, and his band has been here. He also painted a picture for us that we use as a marketing to help paying for our concerts,” ZCA Booking Agent Jim McLaughlin said.

Children and college students with a current ID can enjoy the concert for free, while adult tickets and season memberships are available at the Secrest Box Office. The Box Office will open at 5:30 PM on the night of the concert, and doors to the auditorium will open at 6:30 PM.

“I’m excited about hearing the music. I love big band music, and I think anybody who is enjoying that style of music, or even if you just want to hear it for the first time and find out what it’s about. This is a great opportunity for Zanesville and our area to come hear the great songs of that era,” ZCA President Sheryl Wise said.
