Marion Frank Touvell

Marion Frank Touvell, 87, of Lore City went home to be with his savior Jesus Christ on Thursday (September 12, 2024).
He was born June 6, 1937 in Kings Mine, Ohio and was the son of the late Marion George and Mary Jane (Absalom) Touvell. He leaves his beloved spouse of sixty-four years, Carol Jean (Long) Touvell – they were married September 19, 1959. He was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Jo (Touvell) Neff and Dale Neff; as well as three sisters and three brothers. He is survived by one daughter, Kerry (Touvell) Stahovec and Brian Stahovec; four grandchildren, Erica (Joshua) (Stahovec) Cummins, Jessica (Jeremiah) (Stahovec) Miley, Dale (Nichole) Neff, and Chelsea (Robby) (Neff) Wilson; six great-grandchildren, Halie (Cummins) Shoemake, Tanner and Saige Neff, Jebediah Miley, Ellie and Peyton Wilson; two great-great-grandchildren, Westlynne and Case Shoemake; many beloved nieces and nephews; as well as several close friends and neighbors.
Frank was a 1956 graduate of Lore City High School. He was an active member of the Lore City United Methodist Church. Frank worked at several area plants and around the country in the injection molding plastics field. He was the proud owner of Touvell Plastics for six years located in Galesburg, Illinois. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, woodworking, and enjoying the birds.
Additionally, the family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Lore City Fire Department, Old Washington Fire Department, Southeastern Regional Medical Center, and Select Specialty Hospital of Newark.
Visitation will be Monday (September 16, 2024) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lore City United Methodist Church (188 Main Street, Lore City OH) with Rev. Devanie Roe officiating, where services will follow the visitation hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army, 221 Dewey Avenue, Cambridge OH 43725 and/or the Lore City Methodist Church, 188 Main Street, Lore City OH 43755.
