Zanesville—Jackie Dale Creeks, 70, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Genesis Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

Born on February 1, 1954, Jack was a lifelong resident of Zanesville. He devoted 38 years to Ohio Machinery, specializing as a skilled diesel mechanic. He had a great love for cooking and prepared meals for everyone he knew. In his free time, he enjoyed drawing, working on projects in his customized shed, and listening to Bluegrass music. Sundays were dedicated to cheering on his Bengals. Jack was a proud member of the Blue Lodge Lafayette 79 and Amrou Grotto.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Robin, and their three daughters: Missy Talbot (Michelle Ashcraft), Natalie (Justin) Pierce, and Jessica (Todd) Gatewood. His grandchildren, who were his greatest joy, include Jaret, Jacelyn, Jackson, Emmy, Rowen, and Alana. Jack is also survived by his devoted mother-in-law Norma Bowman and siblings: Bob (Jenny) Creeks, Jake (Ann) Creeks, Lisa (Rick) VanWye, Danny (Bobby) Creeks, and Linda (Mark) Swauger, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Edna Creeks; father-in-law, Logan Bowman; and special people who touched his life, Chase Bracken, Mitchell Pletcher, and Pat Connar.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 3p.m. and 5 to 7p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5756 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024 at the funeral home with Pat Wiseman-Jones officiating. A burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.
