Wanda Baker

Wanda Baker, 95, formerly of East Fultonham, passed away at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday September 4, 2024 at The Oaks at Northpointe. She was born on July 28, 1929 in Sayre, Ohio, a daughter of the late Chester and Lillian (Sidwell) Hamilton. She is survived by one daughter Marsha (Glen) DeLong. Two grandchildren Julie Hill and Chris (Tara) DeLong. Four great-grandchildren Kristen (Max) Harmon, Sarah Hill, Chase DeLong, and Rachel Hill. One great-greatgranddaughter Karley Harmon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert Baker. Her siblings Eleanor Bonner, Jean Mauk, Larry Hamilton, and Sharon Crawford. She was a homemaker who loved cleaning house, baking, and cooking. She also loved spending time with family, shopping, spending many winters in Florida, and later playing bingo with her friends and staff at The Oaks at Northpointe. The family would like to thank the caregivers at The Oaks and Shrivers Hospice for their support and care. Private services were held at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home in White Cottage. Chaplain Jason Boggs officiated. Wanda was buried next to her husband in Fultonham Cemetery.
