Clarence “Clem” Stevens

Clarence (Clem) Stevens, age 87 years old, passed away on September 13, 2024, at Genesis Healthcare. He was born September 11, 1937, to Pete and Anna Hansel Stevens of South Zanesville, Ohio.
He was a member of the Ohio Army National Guard for eight years. He worked at Columbia Cement for six years and retired from OK Coal and Concrete after 43 years of service. He was an avid Ohio State fan and sports enthusiast.
He is survived by his longtime companion Cecelia Rebic, one sister, Mary Ann Ridenour. Also cherishing his memory are nephew, Gary (Carolyn) Thompson and niece, Judith (William) Riser and many other nieces and nephews. Also mourning his loss is the Rebic family, Michael and Judy Rebic and Dan, Stephanie, Justin and Lauren Bathrick and good friend, Steve Harlow.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, are his sisters, Mary Ann Ridenour, Luby Little, Helen Wilson, and Rose Marie Cumby and three brothers-in-law, Robert Little, Robert Wilson and Hank Cumby. Other special people in his life that preceded him in death were Kelsey Krigsbaum, Kenny Minnich and Tony West.
Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A dignified cremation will take place with a private graveside service at Mt. Olive Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clem’s memory, made be made to St. Jude’s hospital or other charities of one’s choice.
