Rozella Snedegar

Rozella Marie Snedegar, 83, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Rozella was born February 22, 1941 in Buckhannon, West Virginia, daughter of the late Marion H. Tenney and Eva (Sothen) Trusler. In addition to her parents, Rozella is also preceded in death by her husband, Merle Dwyn Snedegar; step-father, Marshall Homer Trusler; an infant brother; brother, Timmy; sister, Margaret Jane; and sons-in-law, Darrell Moore and Bill Moss.

Rozella leaves to mourn her passing, her beloved children, Randy Willey, Tammy Moore, Chris Alan Willey and Kelly Moss; step-children, Merle Eugene Snedegar, Linda Beevers, Ronald Dwyn Snedegar and Richard Snedegar; grandchildren, Sarah, Nathan, Dakota, Serena, Troy, Travis, Adam, Ashley, Austin, Anna, Andrew, Elysha and Scotty; several great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; siblings, Cecil Wayne Trusler, Danny Joe Trusler, Thomas Trusler, Theodore Alan Trusler, Michael Jay Trusler and Trish Oswald; sister-in-law, who was a friend, companion and caregiver Cheryl Trusler; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Rozella spent her life as a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was an extraordinarily caring woman, who even dedicated time to caring for her childhood friend as she battled cancer. Rozella enjoyed doting on her grandchildren and caring for them when able. In her free time, Rozella enjoyed crafting beaded jewelry. In earlier years, Rozella and family were known to be quite musical, loving to sing and playing many instruments together. She loved pets of all kinds. Rozella was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

You may call on the family Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Burial will follow in Brownsville Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
