Kroger Vaccination Wellness Day

ZANESVILLE, OH- The Zanesville Kroger held their vaccination wellness event today to promote their savings program.
The purpose of the program is to encourage the community to get vaccinated while also offering them the opportunity to earn back money for groceries.
“Here at Kroger, we offer a program where if you come in and get your flu shot and you’re not on Medicare or Medicaid we can offer $5 free groceries that is loaded onto your Kroger card, if you get the flu shot and one other shot, we will give you $25 on your Kroger card,” said Kroger Pharmacist, Chris Baker.
In addition to the flu vaccine Kroger also offers vaccines for Shingles, COVID-19, hepatitis A and B, pneumonia and more. You can visit the Kroger Pharmacy where they can see what vaccines would be right for you.
“It’s really good for the community to save money on groceries, you’re already here at the grocery store so it’s easy just to stop in and get the vaccinations you need, our goal is to just try to help the community prevent some serious illness,” said Baker.
