Cambridge Man Saves Two in I-70 Accident

CAMBRIDGE, OHIO (WHIZ) – 62-year-old David Mckim of Cambridge, witnessed a weekend highway crash and helped pull two women from a burning SUV — but he says he’s haunted by the two lives he couldn’t save. Mckim tells The Columbus Dispatch he was on his way home when he witnessed the SUV crash on Interstate 70 early Sunday, and managed to get two injured women out of the burning Jeep Liberty before it was consumed by fire.

Licking County Crime Stoppers

LICKING COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Licking County Crime Stoppers are offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated robbery in Buckeye Lake. The Licking County Sheriffs office reports that on January 18th around 11-30 P.M. two, white, masked men forced their way into a home on the first block of Highland Avenue and demanded pills from an elderly woman.
