Charles Babb

Charles William Babb, 68 of Zanesville, passed away on October 11, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on February 3, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Charles Babb and Patricia (Sines) Babb. Charles was a veteran of the United States Marines and United States Army, serving a total of 13 years. He worked at Haliburton for several years. Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman. Above all, he loved spending his time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charles is survived by his 3 daughters: Debra Wallace, Kristina Cramer, Monica Wamack; twin brother, Craig Babb; sister, Theresa Bradshaw; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Rick Rice; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Darla (Mohler) Babb; 2 sisters: Terry Sohrenssen and Paula Rice.
Calling hours will be held on Friday October 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where full military honors will be presented by The United States Marines in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058. Per Charles’s wishes, a dignified cremation will take place following services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
