20th Annual Education of Yesterday Farm Show

DRESDEN, OH- The 20th Annual Education of Yesterday Farm Show kicked off this morning at 10 a.m.
The purpose of the farm show is to help educate the younger generation about how things were done in the past.
“My dad started it, and he wanted to educate the young children of today about farming, because you look around and you see all the new equipment and a lot of kids don’t understand it and I think there are some kids out there who do not know where their food comes from, other than mom went to the grocery store, we were farmers, equipment dealers so he got the idea and thats what he ran with and here we are today,” said Kendra Moore-Hindel, Event Coordinator.
Her father, Kenny Moore Jr. created a new word that you would hear often from him, and it was LERM. L-E-R-M. It stands for Life, Education, Responsibilities and Memories.
“It just brings a tug to my heart that we are continuing his legacy, he’s been gone for 12 years so I’m hoping he’s looking down and he’s proud and we’re continuing his vision and dream that he had of this place,” said Moore-Hindel.
If you didn’t get a chance to attend today, they will be back tomorrow from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Annual Education of Yesterday Farm Show is always the 3rd weekend in October at 3685 Cass Irish Ridge Road in Dresden, Ohio.
