Michael “Mike” Coffey

Michael “Mike” “Turtle” G. Coffey, 69 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at 6:47 PM, Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at his home under the care of Genesis Hospice. He was born Wednesday, January 12, 1955, in Zanesville, the son of Rolland Coffey and Carolyn (Walter) Coffey. He married Pam (Klinger) Coffey on Wednesday, June 10, 1998, and was Catholic by Faith.
Mike was a 1973 graduate of Maysville High School. He retired from Paul Construction following many years of service. He also worked with Francis Sanders of Sanders Auto Clinic, James & Sons and Coffey’s Marathon Station on West Main Street, for his father and grandfather. He was a member of VFW Post 1058, and enjoyed bowling, golf and fishing.
Mike is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Pam Coffey; one son, Michael (Jodi) Lang; two grandchildren, Josie (Marcus) Cox and Brody Lang; four greatgrandchildren of who he loved so much, Braxten, Brynlee, Brooklynn and Foxx; two sisters, Nancy Beckert and Julie (Jerry) Siddle; one brother, Tom (Tracie) Coffey; five nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by one nephew, Doug Beckert.
Mike’s family would like to thank the staff of Genesis Hospice, especially Trinity, for the care and compassion shown to Mike during his illness.
