Carol Day

Carol L. Day, 73 of Roseville, concluded her vibrant journey of life on October 24, 2024, at her residence surrounded and cared for by her loving family. Born on July 13, 1951, in Camden, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late John and Jean (Moore) Lettich. Her upbringing alongside her brothers, Bobby and Johnny Lettich laid the foundation for the dedicated mother, loving grandmother, and proud great-grandmother she would become. Carol’s legacy continues through her children, Tina Smith, Larry T. (Renea) Day Jr., and Tim Day; grandchildren, CJ, Autumne, Wynnter Smith, Caleb Day, and Megan Day; and several great-grandchildren. For many years, Carol was a hardworking laborer at Essex Wire/Lear Corp and later at DK Manufacturing. Outside of work, Carol found joy and excitement in activities of her own. Her love for visiting Bingo halls and spinning the slots at Wheeling Island was matched only by her affection for the heartwarming stories on the Hallmark channel and the adventures of her favorite actor, John Wayne. She also enjoyed the nostalgic offerings of the TV Land network. Carol had a particular knack for finding happiness in everyday moments, whether it was a lucky Bingo card or a classic Western film. Honoring Carol’s wish, a dignified cremation will be conducted under the direction of Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville. A celebration of life will take place at a later date, and she will return home to New Jersey for her final earthly rest.
