James (Jim) Z. Wallace, 79, passed away in North Fort Myers, Florida on October 19, 2024.

Jim was born on October 31, 1944, in Zanesville, Ohio. He was a Vietnam War Veteran serving as an Officer in the United States Army. Jim was the owner of Cedar Homes/Rustic Homes of Zanesville before retiring to Florida. Over the years he also sold real estate, insurance, and held various other sales positions. Jim was a Reiki Master serving as a conduit of healing energy for others. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Order of the Elks. Jim enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, traveling, water skiing (in his younger years), and just being outside in the sunshine.

Surviving are his son Matt (Neley) Wallace of Zanesville, Ohio; daughter Kathy (Nathan) Anderson of Ashville, Ohio; three grandchildren Aleha Anderson, Alyssa Anderson, and Parker Wallace; one brother Bill (Pam) Wallace of Zanesville, Ohio; one niece Tracie (Kevin) Brailer of Zanesville, Ohio; and one nephew Chad (Nicole) Wallace of Glenford, Ohio.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Zene Wallace and Lulu (Moore) Wallace of Zanesville, Ohio; and one infant son William James Wallace.

Jim will be returning home to Ohio to be with family. No memorial service has been arranged at this time. Jim will always be remembered for his free spirit. Honor him by having a toast with friends, eating a good steak, hanging a flag, or enjoying the outdoors. “Love and Light”
