Elizabeth Hunter

Elizabeth Ann Hunter, 83, of Frazeysburg, passed away peacefully, Thursday evening, October 31, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Born July 16, 1941, in Zanesville, she was the daughter of the late David F. & Jean L. (Robison) Waggoner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Rudy L. Hunter whom she married May 2, 1959. Elizabeth was a 1959 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Elizabeth loved car shows with her husband and especially time with her family. Once she became a grandma, she took great pride in her role and assisted in bringing them up, teaching them family values and spoiling them every opportunity she got.

Surviving are her seven children, Shari (Wylie) Morgan, Brent Hunter, Aaron (Capi) Hunter, Mindy (Dale) Ridenbaugh, Stephanie Tellez, Alicia Copeland, and Natalie (Travis) Smith, along with her fourteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit from 2-4pm & 6-8pm, Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 W. Third Street.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, November 7, 2024, with Pastor Dave McCann officiating.

Elizabeth will be laid to rest at the Frazeysburg Cemetery, Frazeysburg.
