Larry Dunn

Larry A. Dunn, 76, of Zanesville, was called home unexpectedly on Sunday November 17, 2024, passing peacefully in his residence. He was born on April 13, 1948, in Zanesville, Larry’s life was marked by resilience, service, and an unwavering dedication to his family and passions. Growing up in White Cottage on Wesley Chapel Road, Larry embodied the hardworking spirit of his roots. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam War, where he honed his skills as a mechanic, a craft he carried foward with pride in his civilian life. Larry had a lifelong love for racing, often finding joy at the dirt track as a spectator. However, nothing thrilled him more than being behind the wheel himself, putting the pedal to the metal and living life at full speed. Larry is survived by his loving children Stephanie Dunn of San Marcos, Texas, Stephen Dunn and his wife, Trudy, of Chicago, and Halie Dunn of Bluffton, Indiana. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren Jazmyne, Marquet, Dakota, Julia, and Stephen Nicholas, and a cherished great-grandfather to Kinsley and Khaleesi. One sister Gina Dunn. Two brothers Mike Dunn and Marty Dunn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Alice Dunn. Three sisters Janet Royer, Carol Mathis, and Deanna Hammers. Larry’s legacy of love, service, and passion for life will be forever remembered by his family and friends. Services to honor his life will be announced soon.
