Orpha Cox

Orpha Ann (Mills) Cox, 98, died Tue. Nov. 19, 2024 at Beckett House in New Concord at 7:00 a.m. She was born on Dec. 16, 1925 in Redfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Hemend and Emma (Brown) Mills. She is survived by three children Gary (Barb) Cox, Susan (Chris) Clark, and Danny (Kathy) Cox. 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-greatgrandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Cox, Sr. One son Charles R. Cox, Jr. One daughter Linda M. Cox. Two grandsons Charles Leroy Cox and Gary L. Cox, Jr. Two great-granddaughters Grace and Emma Ayers. Brothers John, Hink, Leonard, Raymond, Thomas, Clifford, and Bobby. Sisters Wilma Drake, Martha Crum, and Wilda Caplinger. A very special friend Robert Muniente.

Orpha was a very loving mother and very special lady. She loved taking care of her family with cooking, baking, and taking care of babies. She lived a very full, long, and wonderful life that she was very thankful for. And she would tell this to everyone.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sat. Nov. 23, 2024 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where friends may call from 10;00 a.m. until service time. Mark Tonkery officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
