Judith “Judy” Ann Anderson age 85, of Caldwell, OH entered the Gates of Heaven Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Altercare Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell. She was born October 24, 1939 in Roaring Springs, PA daughter of the late James and Helen Horvath Hinkle.

She retired after 25 years as the head cook at Caldwell Elementary School. Judy was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Caldwell having great love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She taught Sunday School, worked with Awana, sang in the Choir, served as Deaconess, and worked countless hours at the Pine Lake Bible Camp. She was most happy when she spent time with her family and making her house a home. Judy also liked picking strawberries, working puzzles, sewing, baking, and vacationing at the ocean in Emerald Isle, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Harold F. “Freddie” Anderson, whom she married August 11, 1957 and who passed December 2, 2006; great-grandson Kaden S. Hesson; sister Nancy Frame; daughter-in-law Denise Anderson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Cathy (Joe) Hesson of Lake Wales, FL and Bryan (Theresa) Anderson of Delaware, OH; grandchildren Craig (Brandi) Hesson, Brad (Stephanie) Hesson, Elizabeth (Steve) McPeck, Ryan Hesson, Juliana Anderson, and Annemarie Anderson; great-grandchildren Brittany (Westyn) Bennington, Cailynn Hesson, Alivia Hesson, Logan Hesson, Bryce, Lexi, and Chesney McPeck, Kaylee (Brayden) Glanemann; great-great-grandchildren Winnie McPeck, Kayden Glanemann, and Miles Bennington; sisters Marilyn (Myron) Miller of Navarre, OH and Carolyn (Carmen) Copeland of East Canton, OH. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Funeral Service will conclude visitation Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jay Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Dudley Cemetery, where Judy will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Freddie. Funeral services will be viewed via livestream on the Chandler Funeral Home Facebook Page.
