Little Shop of Health Joins the Chamber of Commerce
ZANESVILLE, OH -A new business joined the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce on Monday.
Little Shop of Health, located at 2810 Maple Ave, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate becoming a Chamber Member.
Dana Matz, the president of the Chamber of Commerce, said the owner, Michelle Schroder, saw an opportunity to open a supplement and health food store and took the chance.
“It’s nice to have small businesses, over 80% of our businesses are small businesses,” Matz said. “It’s what drives America, so it’s an opportunity for consumers to come to this store versus, pushing their phone and ordering it from somebody outside. They can come in and talk to Michelle and she can help them work their way through what products they’re going to need and what’s going to best serve them.”
Some of the things you can find at Little Shop of Health are supplements, tallow moisturizers, essential oils, honey, homeopathic items and much more.
Schroder said her goal is to help assist others in getting and then staying healthy.
“As I was looking around the store and talking with Michelle about the different products that they have,” Matz said. “They have men’s health, women’s health, health in general, there’s a supplement you can find here.”
Little Shop of Health is open on Tuesdays through Saturdays. For more information, you can head to their Facebook Page.
