Helen Purcell Welcomes New Executive Director

ZANESVILLE, OH – Change is in the air at Helen Purcell with a new friendly face leading the way.

Justin Middleton has recently stepped into the role of executive director. After spending the past few years in Columbus, he’s glad to be back home bringing his senior living experience, passion, and modern touch to the long-standing tradition of care at Helen Purcell.

“The vision for Helen Purcell is obviously legendary care. But also, I think it’s bringing a modern touch while honoring the rich history. I believe that if we can bring a modern touch to the senior living that we have here, it will set our trajectory for the future, and we’ll be around 100 more years.” Justin Middleton said.

Ann Combs, director of admission and activities, says Middleton’s energy and vision make him the perfect fit for this position.

“We are so excited that Justin has decided to join our team and take on the leadership role here. I believe that Justin’s energy and vitality is bringing a new aspect to Helen Purcell. We’re so excited that our senior’s get to see how Helen Purcell will project into the future. We look for a long history yet to come here in Muskingum County.” Combs said.

Helen Purcell has been part of the community since 1886, and they’re looking forward to a smooth transition and a bright future under Middleton’s leadership.
