Market Street Prime Set to Bring Upscale Dining to Downtown Zanesville
ZANESVILLE, OH – A Downtown Zanesville favorite closed its doors earlier this year, but something new is already cooking.
The Old Market House Inn served the community for more than 50 years before shutting down in May. Now, the Market Street staple has a new owner, Jim Cappano, who’s transforming the space into Market Street Prime, which will be a brand-new dining experience.
“We wanted to bring a little bit of upscale dining to Zanesville, and we found no better place than downtown. We’re thrilled to be here. It’s going to be more of a steakhouse, but we also have many entrées and a lounge menu, and we’ll be releasing those items soon. We’ll be serving for more affordable all the way up to very high-end prime steaks.” Jim Cappano said.
The historic building has been reimagined with a modern and elegant design to preserve its story while adding new life. The new restaurant is hoped to open on September 15th, giving the community a fresh place to celebrate, gather, and dine.
“Market Street Prime is located in a historic building in Downtown Zanesville. We were really excited to modernize it into a sophisticated restaurant. We made sure to combine old with new details. I’m excited for the city of Zanesville to see some things that we discovered while renovating such as the historical mural in the bar which now will be on display for everyone to see.” Ashley Moyer, Owner of Ashley Moyer Interior Design said.
Market Street Prime will be opening soon at 424 Market Street in Zanesville. For more details you can visit their Facebook page.
