Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center Dog of the Week; Meet Tango

ZANESVILLE, OH – This week’s dog of the week is a toy obsessed pup.
Meet Tango! He’s a 2-year-old shepherd husky mix who’s neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and is ready for his forever family.
Doug McQuaid, a volunteer at the K-9 Adoption Center, says while Tango does well with everyone he meets he would need to be the only dog in the home.
“[He] Enjoys playing with the toys, will sit for treats.” McQuaid said. “He seems to be a little bit dog selective, we found out, so that would be something you would take into consideration if you were going for a walk or through a dog park or something like that.”
McQuaid also invited the public to their second annual Trunk-or-Treat happening on Monday October 27th at the Adoption Center.
He says this isn’t your typical Trunk-or-Treat because this one will be for the pups.
“We’re inviting all the businesses to come, set up a trunk, and hand out treats to pooches.” McQuaid said. “Not people, we’ll probably have some of those as well. And this is not a fundraiser, this is just a way of showing appreciation to the community and all of their dogs when they bring them in and that’s just a way for them to kind of have some fun for Halloween.”
