Celebrating Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day

ZANESVILLE, OH – Today’s a special day to celebrate the people who help our local businesses shine. It’s ‘Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce’ Day!

Chambers of Commerce play a key role in creating thriving communities. They connect businesses, inspire growth, and build partnerships that keep local economies moving forward.

“National statistics show that if a local business is a member of the chamber, consumers are more likely to do business with those businesses. It gives us an opportunity as a Chamber to help support those businesses as they grow and as they’re needing help with any of their employee needs. It’s the unity thing, supporting each other. It’s a community effect. Allowing businesses to be a business community and help them strive.” Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce President/CEO, Dana Matz said.

The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is proud to represent the diverse businesses that make the area strong, from small shops to major employers.

“Muskingum County is a very caring and generous community. We see all the things that happen off to the side. The businesses are also very supportive in our community of each other. A lot of the businesses try to do business with local businesses, and in turn, that just keeps the flow of the business community going.” Matz said.
