Patricia Fortner

Patricia Marlene Fortner 68 of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday November 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 18.1957 in Zanesville, the daughter of Sandra and the late Jerry Jarrett. She graduated from Maysville High School, Class of 1975 and worked at Essex Technologies for many years. Patricia was an amazing woman whose kindness, strength, caring and love touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her family and friends will remember her compassion, resilience and grace. Though her time here feels far too short, her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her mother Sandra Jarrett, two children Chris Chema, Carrie (Adam) Strickler, two grandchildren Blake (Chelsey) Wilson, Madison Wilson, two great grandchildren Lynx Wilson and Jamison Clifton, four siblings Roxanne (Doug) Smith, Jerry Jay (Nancy) Jarrett, Karla (Paul) Maddox, Dustin (Heather) Jarrett and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Also, her beloved dog Bella.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marty Fortner, father Jerry Jarrett, sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Bill Mitton.

Family and Friends may call from 4:00pm until 6:00pm Wednesday November 12, 2025, at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. John Alice officiating.
