“The ceremony started in 1992. A wreath maker in Maine, Morrill Worcester, has left-over wreaths. He sent them to Arlington to be placed on veterans graves. So from 1992 to 2007 it begin to grow each year and in 2007 they formally made it a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and opened it up then to others throughout the county,” said Brad McCune, the location coordinator for Zanesville.
