OSHP investigating a hit-skip crash involving a pedestrian

NASHPORT, OH- The Zanesville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a pedestrian-involved hit-skip crash that left a 72-year-old woman seriously injured Wednesday evening on State Route 60.
Authorities said the crash occurred around 7:58 p.m. when Robin Morgan, of Nashport, was walking in the southbound lane of SR 60 and was struck by a southbound vehicle. She was transported to Genesis Hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators believe the vehicle involved is a dark-colored sedan, possibly a 2011 or 2012 Dodge Charger, with a missing passenger side fog light, that may also be missing a passenger side mirror. The incident remains under investigation.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking anyone who may recognize the vehicle or has information about the crash to contact them.
The patrol was assisted at the scene by the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, Falls Township EMS, and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
