Rebecca “Becky” J. Hoskinson

Rebecca (Becky) Jane Yinger-Hanning-Hoskinson of Zanesville gained her Angel Wings where she was greeted by her son and parents and is standing tall and whole praising her Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Born July 10,1946 in Muskingum County to Mary and James White. She was adopted and raised by her Grandparents, Hazel and Lawrence Yinger when her mother passed away when she was only a year old along with her sister, Donna Yinger-Moyer. She graduated from Adamsville High School in 1964. She was a devoted, loving mother and wife and a member of Shelter House Assembly of God. Her passion and devotion was to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who got her through life and its trials as well as putting puzzles together in which she loved to have them framed and given to her family and friends. She had a heart of gold and would come to anyone’s rescue; including her foster son, Jyles Fitch whom she loved very much.
She was married to the love of her life, Jerry L Hoskinson, who was beside her till her last breath. Their marriage of 40 years, had her working side by side with her beloved husband. They did everything together. They were devoted to each other.
She was blessed with 4 boys who she was devoted to as well as a daughter who assisted her husband in taking turns lovingly caring for her through the final months of her life.
She leaves behind her husband, Jerry Hoskinson and children: Richard (deceased 2012), Ronnie, Rusty and David Hanning, and Ricky Ralph and a daughter, Jessica (Chris) Pritchard as well as her sister, Donna Yinger-Moyer; Nieces Tammy (David) Thompson and Anita Richards; Nephews, Don (Juanita) Richards and Terry (Marsha) Richards, Special Cousin, Debbie (Carl) Henning; Special “son” Jyles Fitch; and special friend Rita Kelly as well as many grandchildren, her Aunt Hilda Yinger and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary White; Grand ”Parents” Lawrence and Hazel Yinger; her first born son, Richard Hanning; sister, Edith Yinger-Richards (2016) and brothers Larry (2020) and Jerry White and Kenneth Yinger (2004).
Farus Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A celebration of life service officiated by Pastor Joe Rowland will be held at The Shelter House Assembly of God on South River Road, Blue Rock at Noon on Saturday, May 16 with a luncheon afterwards.
Cancer cannot take away what God has given: love, hope, peace, faith, memories, courage or eternal life. Cancer may affect the earthly body, it can never destroy the soul, God’s love and eternal life with Jesus Christ in Heaven.
