Y-Bridge Arts Festival: 68 artists, 5 food trucks, and a full performance line-up

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Y-Bridge Arts Festival started Friday with plenty of food, music, and visual art on display.

The festival is held on the campus of Zane State College, with 68 artists showcasing their work. The festival is organized by the Artist Colony of Zanesville, or ArtCoZ, and their president discussed what he looks forward to most about the event.

“I like the variety of artists that we’re able to feature here again. There is so many different mediums here. I mentioned several of them earlier, but you know we got photography and glass, ceramics, painting, it’s just on and on, stained glass,” Goodall said. “There’s just so many artists represented, and I think it gives our community a great view of the talent that we have in our area. ”

The Zanesville Museum of Art is running a children’s activity booth, five different food trucks are on site, and local music and dance performances keep the outdoor stage busy throughout the festival. The festival continues through Saturday.

“We’re going to open at 11 o’clock [a.m.] and we’ll go until dark, around 8 o’clock. There will be live music throughout that whole time, back to back,” Goodall said. “Obviously food trucks as well and the artists and the childrens’ activities have a new activity about every hour. So the children will have plenty to do as well…”
