High school football player of the week – Hudson Moore

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Each Monday during the high school football season WHIZ sports will feature a high school football Player of the Week.
Our week one Player of the Week is Bishop Rosecrans’ wide receiver Hudson Moore. Moore scored four touchdowns Friday, four different ways in a 74 point win over Beallsville. The senior recovered a fumble and ran it back 20 yards for a touchdown, ran for a 21 yard score, caught a 35 yard touchdown from Jack Nash, and in the third quarter returned a punt 80 yards for six points.
It was the Bishops’ first game at their brand new stadium located right behind the high school. Moore said scoring four touchdowns was a great way to christen the new field.
“It was an environment that none of us have experienced before. So it was a new feeling. I look forward to more games here this year,” said Moore.
The Bishops set a school record for most points in a game with their 82-8 win over the Blue Devils. BRHS is on the road this week to play Malvern.
