Man med-flighted after Coshocton County accident

COSHOCTON COUNTY, OHIO- A man was med-flighted after an accident involving a semi-truck Monday afternoon.

According to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 2:17 p.m. on November 6th, a Dodge minivan traveling north on State Route 83 near Township Road 146, struck a semi-truck that was disabled in the northbound lane. Deputies said the semi-truck had run out of fuel and did not have enough time to set out safety triangles.

The minivan was operated by Gene Ramey of East Canton. He was wearing his safety belt, but sustained a head injury and was transported by med-flight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

His condition remains unknown.

The semi-truck was operated by Joseph Yoder of Fresno, who did not sustain any injuries.
