ZPD: We’re Hiring Corrections Officers

The Zanesville Police Department is looking for a few good men. Jail Administrator Michelle Duke says they need corrections officers. They recently lost an officer to retirement and another is moving into the patrol division. Duke says the pay starts at 15.26 an hour with paid sick leave and vacation time, longevity pay, medical, hospital, vision and dental insurance. She says there is also an excellent retirement plan. The deadline to apply is December 15th. Applicants may contact the Civil Service Office at 401 Market Street. You can also learn more about the position on the City of Zanesville Website at c-o-z.org. No experience is necessary.
