Dresden Fire Investigated

A fire in Dresden is now under investigation by the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office. Public Information Officer Kelly Stincer says it happened Saturday at 619 Chestnut Street. The home was occupied at the time of the blaze. Stincer say the origin and cause are under investigation and currently undetermined. Investigators cannot rule out portable space heaters as a possible cause of the fire. The homeowner suffered burns from the fire and was transported to a Columbus hospital.
