It happened at 1021 Grace Avenue Tuesday morning January 9th. The Chief says it was a multi-agency effort that included the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Swat Team and K-9 units and a total of 30 officers. Coury says they executed an extremely high risk search warrant at rental property where they knew of the propensity of violence, guns and dogs, and all were present. Coury says he is not yet identifying the suspect, but there were drug related and other felony crimes involved. Prosecutor Mike Haddox, Law Director David Tarbert and City Safety Director Fred Buck were also on the scene of the bust.
