I-70 Open in Licking County

***UPDATE*** I-70 in Licking County is open to traffic in both the eastbound and westbound lanes after early morning accident near State Route 668  and State Route 13.  ***UPDATE***

***UPDATE*** One lane of eastbound I-70 in Licking County has been reopened to traffic.  It had earlier been closed due to icy conditions and accidents. ***UPDATE***

The Ohio Department of Transportation says several accidents have been reported on I-70 in Licking County Thursday morning.  The Granville Post of the Highway Patrol says I-70 Eastbound is closed at State Route 668, just east of Buckeye Lake, after icy conditions led to accidents involving three semi tractor trailers. Another accident on I-70 Westbound at State Route 13 has closed one lane of traffic.  The detour is US 40.  The accidents remain under investigation.
