Two School Resource Officers assigned to Lakewood Schools

HEBRON, Ohio–Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp announced Wednesday that two deputies  will assume the role of School Resource Officers starting April 2nd at Lakewood Local School District.

Deputy Joe Harvey and Deputy Mike Crider will be officers serving the district.

Lakewood Superintendent Mary Kay Andrews said she is thrilled to welcome Deputy Harvey and Deputy Crider to the District.

Deputy Harvey has been serving as a deputy assigned to the Detective Division as well a Firearms Range Instructor.

Deputy Crider lives in the Lakewood community and has been serving as the CALEA Accreditation Manger assigned to the Community Services Division. Deputy Crider also is an active member of the Licking County SWAT.
